About Yarrowstead
Yarrowstead is named for the resilient wildflower that grows on the property, commonly known as yarrow. Its botanical name, Achillea millefolium, traces back to the ancient Greek mythological warrior, Achilles.

Yarrow has long been used for its healing properties. It was valued by soldiers on the battlefield for stopping bleeding in wars past and continues to be treasured for a multitude of its health benefits today.

The ‘stead’ stand for the place. We are rooted here, stewards of this land, and in turn, the land lends itself to the occasion. The Yarrowstead Sauna & Cold Plunge experience is one that emulates the cyclical rhythms found in nature and the contrasts that amplify its beauty:
