When you live in Central America, Wells Fargo is the only bank that can accept and forward SS to you. What they don't tell you when you sign up is that you have to be IN THE US to transfer money to yourself outside the US, effectively keeping your SS from you. Also, if you can accomplish getting it, they limit to $300 per transfer and charge $8 per transfer. This is supposed to be a free account? They also use intimidation and have people pose as others to cover up. Never return phone calls. Automated complaint says use ATM, check or send letter. No ATM cards or checks will be sent to C.A. and letters take 90 days. read full review »
