My father is 92 years old and he still can wear his teeth and it has been three years. First, when they pulled them the chard bone and that made blisters on his gums but the only thing they did was file down the teeth. He went back each and every Monday for about six months and he still can't wear them. He finally went to a dentist in his home town and they removed the bone and he can now wear them short periods of time becaus they do not fit.
