I'm sitting in Denmark due to Volcano crisis & thought that FNB would be able to handle a simple transaction where I could send money to my girlfriend's Standard Bank account via internet transfer using express clearing. Lo & behold, FNB does not do this on Express clearing, but on standard 3 day transfer. When I ask FNB call centre can they either recall the funds to allow me to do Express clearing, or to contact their interbank transfer centre, this is apparently impossible for them to do. they have no idea of customer... read full review »
