I'm a formerly loyal Priceline customer who successfully bid on a room yesterday. Only to arrive, discover that the hotel was overbooked and my room was now in another (cheaper) hotel, and in a very stinky smoking room, no negotiation possible. By the time we arrived it was too late to do much else. We called Priceline and were told that we could cancel the room, but we were not guaranteed another.
