We have a six year old Whirlpool side by side refridgerator. The relay for the compressor blew and melted the compressor pin so that a new relay cannot even be put on. The relay was burned so bad that it melted part of the plastic on the relay, and melted the contact on the compressor. This is a serious safety fire hazzard. We thought there was fire somewhere in our home. We not only lost every bit of food in our freezer and fridgerator, but also have been w/0 a refridgerator for two weeks. Whirlpool representives have been for most part very rude and dismissing of our issue. read full review »
