I registered for an account on the CreditReport.com website with the understanding that I would not be charged anything during the advertised 7-day trial period. In, I'd say, 2 days, my checking account incurred a charge from Creditreport.com for $US 29.99. Not only did this occur within the trial period, but they included an additional $10 more than the $19.99 monthly fee stated in the agreement.
