With no notice Terasen Gas cut off our family's gas for a missed payment and then demanded that we pay an excessive reconnection fee and a $500 deposit, after we had been good customers for over seven years. This is very surprising and dissappointing behaviour for a company with a monoploy on an essential service. I have submitted complaints to the Better Business Bureau and the BC Utility Commission. If there was another option for a natural gas provider I would switch companies in a heart beat. read full review »
