Today I received a bill for home phone service from AT&T, which is interesting considering I never started phone service. I have Time Warner Cable (bundled package) and have never so much as contacted AT&T to inquire about rates. But, out of nowhere, they usurped my home phone number and sent me a bill for a month's worth of service: $26.40. My husband is deployed to Afghanistan, so there is no way that he started service either. Is this a new "slamming" ploy? This is simply outrageous that they can begin service without my approval/knowledge. read full review »
