I put a call to talktalk my phone provider for severe crackling on the line which I believe was an outside line fault talktalk sent me a bt engineer who condemed my phone wiring and my answerphone after the engineer left I connected a brand new phone directly to the main socket with everything isolated and the fault persisted for two days and then suddenly cleared ( I think this proves there was an outside line fault) I think its disgracefull for bt to charge £99.99p callout fee to an oap. read full review »
