After recently getting laid off, I searched job postings on CraigsList in the Phoenix area. I was interested in one posting for an Office Assistant - it looked really ligitimate, and responded via the "reply to" button. Rather than send them my actual resume, I first asked if they could let me know the major cross streets, because in this area, the job could be 40 or 50 miles away and still be in Phoenix. With the cost of gas and the fairly low pay offered, it wouldn't be feasible to drive way across the city for the position. I... read full review »
