We tried to refinance our mortgage with Wells Fargo Mortgage and they appraised our property very very low. We found out that the whole appraisal was erroneous since the comparable sales used by the appraisal were wrong - for ex, the homes used for comparing had a lower sales price since they belonged to a different school district. Our home value and the neighborhood keeps up good values in homes since it belongs to more recognized and in demand Cupertino school district.
