After haggling over the price of an 2003 Toyota Tacoma, The dealers bottom dollar ended at 9, 000 dollars. Compared to Kelly Blue Book, this was a reasonable price for that model vehicle in excellent condition. Although the vehicle was in very good condition, the tires were in dire need of changing due to lack of tread. After offering to pay him $9, 000 plus a set of new tires, the salesman looked up the NADA value, then raised the price of the vehicle.
