I have worn a lower partial for almost 20 years. With my previous dentist I never had any problems other than normal wear. With my first partial I had to have another tooth added, the wire that hooks to my original teeth had to be resautered and I would occasionaly have to go in and get it adjusted. After several years and just normal wearing I had to have it replaced and again had no problems.
