I ordered a part for my 3 year old Whirlpool Washer (I dont recommend Whirlpool either) I explained to the person online (they wont talk to you in person) what I needed. The person acted like they knew what I was wanting which was the computer at the rear of washer. After 2 orders and return they finally sent me the right part. It was totally the company fault but in the end they only returned my money minus 5 dollars on each order. I spent 13 dollars each time to return. They would not accept the shipping cost back.
