Do you know that National Car Rental doesn't let you rent a car from them using your debit card if you don't have a round-trip ticket? It's their "company policy" not to rent out cars at airports to people without round-trip tickets and willing to pay by their debit card. I spend two hours there talking to the local manager, to everyone at their 800 number trying to pick up a car I reserved earlier online. No one even could explain the reasoning behind this policy.
