I purchased a Fuji Finepix F700 digital camera from overstock.com in March of 2005, for a discounted price along with the Platinum Protection warranty. The camera was perfect until December when the display was black and showed no picture. Since I purchased the warranty for just an occasion, I sent the camera into the center. A few days later, I received a call, and I was told that my camera could not be fixed and that I would be sent a check for $170.00.
