I am a Florida resident and pay for my power and lighting to Florida Power and Light. I've paid on time all the time, that is, until the last two months. I missed payment for two billing cycles by two days each time. That is to say, my payment each time was ONLY two days late. FPL now states that I owe them an Adjusted Account Deposit because my payment was slightly late within the past 6 months. They demand $359.00 or else.
