The Council for Medical Schemes is supposed to support the customer with complaints regarding Medical Aids, but they themselves are as bad as the Medical Aids. They have a clearly defined timeframe for dealing with complaints highlighted on their website and they get nowhere close to acheiving them. I submitted my complaint about Discovery to them, in November 2010. I, to this day, have not had so much as an email response from them.
