I am trying to refinance my property and as per the refinancing company, there is a tax lien on the property. I called Sovereign bank, the carrier of my mortgage, and asked them to investigate. I pay them the mortgage as well as the taxes which they disburse to the city of Boston on a quarterly basis. I requested for the investigation on March 4, 2011 and have made several phone calls to no avail.
