I have had problems as soon as the 1 year warranty expired. I had spent extra on what I thought was a good brand. 12 years ago there weren't that many around. The display panel stopped working early on. The next year the simmer burner stopped working and I was running on 3 burners. We had the "authorized" repairman fix the burner(for $700.00 and her didn't replace the broken knob!) Borrowed another knob and it worked for about 6 months, coughed and died again. Back to 3 burners. The final blow, I turned on the self cleaning oven, opened it the next morning and the glass door shattered! Out shopping now, never for a Thermador! read full review »
