We feel the pain of others in the Sony-Qualxserv mess. We purchased a 36-inch Sony tube TV and had it installed in February 2006. In October 2009 the TV just shut itself off and would not come back on. Out of warranty of course, Sony told us to use their authorized repair service Qualxserv. After paying a $100 diagnostic fee the repair rep said it would be another $375 to do the repair, which we paid also upfront.
