Quest Diagnostics charged me $215 for a Vitamin D-3 test. This is simply a ridiculous amount. First of all, the Doctor sold it to me as a "routine blood test" during my yearly physical. All I know is that 2 weeks later Quest bills me for over $300 for the tests! Why did the Doctor not warn me? Why is Quest charging so much? Why is my insurance not paying if this is a routine physical? I called all of them, and everyone blames everyone else. The bottom line is, this is a huge rip-off. Beware before you take any blood test and make sure your Doctor does not order any tests that will result in such outrageous fees. read full review »
