I bought this Sony TV in 2006 ($1, 789.97) with a warranty ($599.99) that does not expire until 9/10/11. My projection lamp went out and I had forgotten about this warranty, so I called Sears Parts and order this part and had it put on my Sears charge card. At this time I had not touched my tv in any way to fix it myself.
