Had a 5 year lot loan with Wells Fargo for our future retirement home at the shore. Decided not build yet, so thought it wouldn't be a problem just to refinance it through them. After all, we had our 15 yr. home mortgage through them also (to be paid in full in 5 yrs), had good credit, had never been delinquent on any loan during a 30 year marriage. Banks should like us as clients, right? Wells Fargo agreed to refinance the loan in January.
