I dropped off my car on Sunday night at Porters Auto repair in Chamblee, Georgia off W Hospital Dr to have the alternator replaced. I called him first thing Monday morning and told him to look at the car and give me a price. I called him back for the third time around 4:00pm and he finally told me the alternator is going to cost $360 and it is going to cost north of $500 to fix it. I said I'm coming to get the car.
