I have been a customer for over 5 years of CenturyLink, previously Embarq, previously Sprint DSL. I've been paying for 5mb service since I signed up. I did get the speeds I was paying for to begin with but in the past year the speed has steadily been declining. I'm now getting around 1.5mb to 2mb. I called to complain about the speeds and CenturyLink was so kind to offer their new 10mb service so I agreed and had them do the switch.
