My internet went down today for no apparent reason and after trying the usually fixes, I tried to call CenturyLink. I waited about 10 minutes after listening to a recording of how busy they were in Arkansas (I am in Washington State). I tried later - no answer. I tried early PM - no answer. I called every number that I could find for 24 hour Century Link and Century Tel service.
