I have been a customer of DirecTV for many years and have an HD DVR and two additional receivers, and pay in excess of $80.00/month for services and equipment. The HD DVR quit last week, something that happens at least once a year. When the service rep said I needed a new receiver, this time he added that, in order to get the new receiver, I would have to agree to a new two-year service agreement.
