It's official, I will NEVER shop at the Home Depot again. I was given a $50.00 Home Depot gift card that didn't work. After much thought, I went back to the friend who gave me the card and told her what happened. It was a bit awkward. She was embarassed and provided me with a receipt. Turns out the last 4 digits of the gift card number on the receipt do not match the number on the card. At least we know what the problem is. How that happened - we'll never know.
