Used QuikRete product number 8620-09 for mortar repair, I used per the instructions on the tube's label. After applying, the product turned into a very soft playdough like feel (it was suppose to become firm) and developed a slime like outer covering. Within a few days it fell off the wall to be repaired. Now, I have used this before and never had any problems; however, I feel that the tubes that were purchaed at Lowe's had something wrong from QuikRete.
