I have a ps3 that won't read any disc formats ie blu ray or game discs. Ever since the network went down on the 20th of April. I was playing a game when it froze I tried to turn the system of but the ps3 would not turn off the fan and systemran on fir more than an hour before it shut down. Then after this when I put the system on about a week later it would not read discs and when I speak to the ps3 support guys they tell me it's nothing to do with Sony and that the laser has burnt out. Why can this be so I only play the ps3 at weekends the system is only 3 years old. Please help should i just go for an xbox. read full review »
