I recently had an ad up on Gumtree in Australia for a Macbook Pro. Here is the email trail that I received by someone trying to get me to ship out the item to Malaysia after I received an email that funds had been transferred but were held by the bank until a shipment tracking number is supplied. I realised this was a scam straight away when they offered me $300 more than the retail price of this item so thought I would waste some of their time so someone not so clued up might escape being scammed. read full review »
