We booked two nights at the El Convento Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for December 25 and 26, 2010, through Bookit. On December 24, I phoned Bookit because we were staying across the island and my wife became too sick to drive the three hours back to San Juan. Stephanie at Bookit agreed to cancel our first night at the hotel, but keep the second night. She said they would not charge us the $19.95 cancellation fee.
