We purchased a timeshare with BlueGreen which was supposed to be a great opportunity to have something which would be a "legacy" we could use and pass on to all our children. During the sale pitch, we were told this would be paid for in 5 years and that we could rent out our points if we wanted to, use them for cruises and participate in an additional resort program where we could use "companion resorts" all over the world at very reduced prices.
