He is not registered with DOT as a legal "FOR HIRE" transport or trucking or towing company. Federal law says if you are out there "for hire" In the transportation, hauling, towing, trucking business you legally must register as "FOR HIRE" to have legal privilege to transport for hire, thing that you don't own, other people's property. A vegetable farmer taking on "FOR HIRE" transport hauling jobs illegally. DOT requires you to register as a "for hire" transporter, trucker, hauler. And carry proper cargo insurance. This vegetable farmer is not within the right to be hauling anything any where for anyone but him self. If he is stoped by authority's and doesn't own what's on the back of his truck, his truck and the unowned item will all be impounded by DOT for illegal hauling.
