I purchased a very expensive book from COGNOSCENTI BOOKS AND ANTIQUES. According to the site, the book was very rare which automatically inflated the price. Unfortunately, I was not aware of Second Hand Book Shops in the internet and grabbed this copy. After some few weeks, I found the same book priced between $ 60-75. A small amount to be compared to the hefty price I paid from COGNOSCENTI BOOKS AND ANTIQUES. A warning to our Readers, before you even think of buying books from this company search first for Alibris or Abebooks. read full review »

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

I bought a round trip to ticket to Bangkok with Royal Dutch Airlines. Compared with other airlines the price was higher but I was assured by the ticketing office that 28 kilos would be allowed as check in luggage. During the flight, the food offered to the Economy Passengers was little and awful. We barely touched the bland menu. On my way back, I checked in 26 kilos, the Ground Steward said I was only allowed 23 Kilos. I showed my ticket which indicated 28 kilos check in. I ordered an expensive book from A1Books Netcong, NJ U.S.A. When the book arrived they sent me the wrong one. I sent them several emails but they did not respond. When I checked for their phone number it was not listed. ABEBOOKS still carries this company.
