I called Wells Fargo about a charge on my bank statement that I didn't recognize, and they answered my question. I had done this before many times for free, and thought nothing about it. I check my online statement a couple days later to find a $2.00 charge for that phone call. It was the toll free number that allows a person to check balances, ... and to speak to an operator.
