I have several credit cards with citi. In december of 2009 I decided to close one of the credit cards because i did not want to pay the annual fee. After i closed my account, citi went to my thank you rewards account which is comprised of all my credit cards plus my citigold relationship, and took 30, 040 points out. When I inquired about it, I was told they changed their terms and they can now do this. I let the rep know that I was never notified of the changes.
