Policy No. 554790198, Dt. of Comm - 08.09.2006, Plan - 181-10 of Ranchi Br.2, LIC OF INDIA, Jamshedpur Division, East Central Zone, Patna. Rs. 1, 00, 000/- has been vanished by Ranchi Branch 2. When I applied for the policy's surrender at the concerned branch, i.e., Ranchi Br.2 on 29.12.2009, to my utter surprise, I was told by a note on my application that the policy is not FPCD ( FIRST PREMIUM CHEQUE DISHONOUR) so it can not be surrendered.
