I bought a radar detector/scrambler, on line, and paid an extra $39.95 for a fourth year repair warrantee. I sent the unit back twice during the first three years, for the same problem (failure of the audio alert)...It broke again, so I sent it back within the four year time limit, and was told that they didn't sell me the extended warranty, and that their dealer who did sell that extra warrantee was out of business...So Rocky Mountain Radar called me to tell me that they would not repair the unit unless I sent $63.00 to cover the cost... read full review »
