Me and My wife had a Checking account with Wamu in Seal Beach Ca. I had a Debt card, which was not problem. I applied for a Credit card ( Wamu ) and was denied unless I backed up the credit card with $ 500.00 secrutiy. I said fine and I received the Credit card, I had the card for about a month, and received a letter that CHASE had bought Wamu, fine, and I would receive a credit card from Chase at some time.
