When I called up to request that home landline service be disconnnected, first the agent tried to bs me with marketing materials, then I WAS INFORMED THAT UNLESS I GAVE A REASON FOR THE DISCONNECTION, THEY COULD NOT DISCONNECT. In other words, when I invoked my right to privacy, I was told they would not fulfill my request to disconnect. I am not entitled to privacy according to ATT.
