I didn't want a contract with Verizon so when my phone broke I bought a prepaid and used it for six monthswith the understanding that erizon would let me move my number and phone BACK to the original family plan. The slimey rep (after getting birthdate, license number, etc) shut off the prepaid and said I have to have a two year contract. No I don't want a contract, that's why I got a new phone and dealt with a prepaid plan. So too bad, now I have no phone service at all. They lost my number and I lost all my messages.
