My Chevy cruze eco is being advertised at 40mpg. I have been getting only 35mpg. Car has 5300 miles on it so it is broken in, This is in combination driving ( expressway, rural/city areas) My last car Toyota Corolla 2009 was getting 38mpg and my Hyndai Elantra 2001 was getting 36mpg for same type of driving style. Car has been in for recall and mileage problem was mentioned. Driving methods were discussed, and I was told the car computor is in charge of gas mileage.
