Had roof damage from storm. Used contractor suggested by State Farm to get estimate which was $15, 000. After a 3.5 hour assessment by State Farm they will only pay out 9300. Said contractors estimate was incorrect. Had contractor come back out and they increased estimate to $17, 000 due to house having 5 roofs and cost of material increase. Roof has over 100' of ridge cap, that SF said contractor needs to cover that in their scrap. To get warrantee need to use vented ridge cap. SF said won't cover it.
