I bought a brand new 2004 Cavalier with only 200 miles. It was in the shop for the first time within one week at 500 miles for a front end alignment. That should have taught me then. Now, with 44k miles on it and a little over 2 years ownership, it has been in the shop over 25 times. This car randomly dies, not only when I am stopped, but also on the freeway. Real safe, right?
