This morning I called Santander to make a $195 payment on my car loan. I gave the representative my card information but was told that it was declined. I told her that was impossible because I had just checked the balance and there were sufficient funds to cover the transaction. I verified the card information with her and she tried to process the payment again. She told me again that the card had been declined.
