DO NOT do business with any merchant who uses Certegy Check Services. Let me explain. I have had two checks denied at Petsmart three weeks ago and at Gamestop yesterday. Neither retail outlet could give me a reason other than to tell me they use Certegy Check Services. I contacted Certegy this morning and was told that there is nothing wrong with my financial history and that their system randomly declines certain check based on the risk management parameters they have set up.
