I have been a TXU customer for over 4 years and hadn't had a major reason to complain about their service until was diagnosed as being terminally ill and was no longer able to work. Upon learning that I was terminally ill, TXU immediately applied a $600 deposit requirement to my account after I missed the due date for one bill by a week. Perhaps I shouldn't have told them that I am dying and that the medication that keeps me alive needs to be refrigerated.
